The inspiration for waymarking the trail routes will be drawn from the archive, and will be inclusive and representative of the local area.
Waymarkers will be selected for their minimal intervention in the landscape, use of natural sustainable materials and low impact on the environment. These could be physical markers such as planted trees, carved posts or stones, or a soundscape, piece of music or film, for example.
Maps and Interpretation Boards
An accessible county-wide map will be produced for the trails, in digital and print versions. Interpretation boards will be designed to promote the trails and showcase the community involvement. These will be placed at the start of each route.
